My chainsaw got stolen so I spent quite a time reviewing chainsaws which blows your mind after a while. I decided to go with the Timberpro 20" 62 cc as most of the reviews were good. Glad I did I am only an occasional user and my first use I was impressed. So thank you whoever stole my old one.

I recently purchased this saw and it arrived in two days from GB to California. This is a great saw and my son loves it so much he has taken it. So I just ordered two more, on for me and another for my other son. I also ordered an extra Oregon bar and chain. It cuts as well as my Stihl saws and I will be cutting a lot of oak this spring. Starting is easy if you do not use the choke. The chains are fair and require frequent tightening when new. The oiler needed to be properly adjusted, no big deal. You cannot go wrong with this saw.

Love these saws. Cheap and work fine. Just keep them clean and forget about the chains that come with. They suck. Buy replacement chains at loggerchain.com and they last much longer. Thinking of buying another saw, just don't need the chains they provide.

Well, Lets start with just starting it. Prime it a couple of times, pull the choke out, then pull firmly but not fast on the cord. Nothing happens, so pull it once more, and it burps. Pull it firmly one more time (not exerting hardly any energy with the start assist) and it springs to life. My Stihl that is almost the same size is jealous, as it sits now more than it get run. I keep trying to wear this thing out, but it is not happening. It cuts, cuts, and cuts some more. I will say it does use more fuel than the Stihl, but is slightly more powerful. I will also say I seem to have to tighten the chain more frequently, but not to the extreme. It goes through southern pine like butter. An impressive saw for such a cheap price, and I will write another review as soon as I wear it out. Doesn't look like it will be too soon though. I don't suggest dropping it, as just about the entire thing is plastic. This is about an honest a review as you are gonna get. I usually look for name brand stuff, but now have purchased 3 items from this company. The switch is a little cheap switch but works fine. I believe they use the same switch on all equipment as the little top handle saw has the same one. I am going to recommend this product to anybody who is just tired of paying a ton of money for a Stihl or a husky and want something you may have to be slightly more cautious with, but will perform nicely and get the job done. I have used it everyday for almost 3 weeks now, and can say it is well worth the money you pay for it.

Great little chainsaw. Excellent starting whether cold or hot. Springloaded starter is definately an asset.

Have now cut several tons of wood in the past year, including bringing down a 3 metre circumference cricket bat willow tree. All achieved with ease. Have just changed petrol filter, air filter and spark plug , cleaned carburettor and going beautifully. Spare parts easy to get from original vendor and reasonable price. Main criticism-tensioning screw needed changing and bar is a little flimsy but not expensive to replace as bought two bars in original package. Overall, excellent performance and superb value.

Used the saw today to reduce a 100 metre hedge line containing a lot of blackthorn and numerous medium size field maples. Coped admirably. Chain needed tightening twice but so far that's the only (minor) downside.
