TimberPro CS-6150 62 cc 20-Inch Chainsaw Demo and Review (04:54)
Solid 20" Timberpro chainsaw. So far so good!!! Starts right up, just like it says in the user guide: cold start, choke out til it fires, throttle choke closed and wham. First or second pull everytime! Seems to have plenty of power. Was a little hesitant during first hour or so of running... to be expected while breaking in a new motor. Feels like it is breaking in nicely now and revs/runs well. The video here is the some very dense honey locust... the saw eats it right up. This wood is no joke. A great test for any saw.. Factory chains are a little suspect. They dull pretty quickly and are prone to bucking and vibrations. I ordered a few Oregon chains like many have suggested... 21LPX076G from Frawleys Saw Shop - Loggerchain.com Nice service, fast shipping, great website. The chains are clearly superior, have 2+hours on first of three new chains... wondering if I really needed the other two.. this chain stays sharp! For $180 delivered (quickly) to your door, I absolutely would recommend this saw.

  2. Good Chainsaw for the money 4 Star Review

the timberpro cranked like it said the only draw back was the mixture cup when you pour the gas in the chainsaw it pours all over the chainsaw and it is also hard to find a chain that size

  3. Awesome chainsaw 4 Star Review

This chainsaw is great for the price. I only give it four star instead of five because the chain is tough to keep tight on mine.

  6. Powerful great chainsaw package 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2017

I received the kit in Oregon from the UK in a few days. I took one of the chains included and ground the cutters into a ripping configuration. Attached a 24" Granberg MKIII Alaskan Chainsaw Mill and ripped 2" thick slabs from a couple of doug fir logs I had in my backyard. Worked Great!. I have the other chain in the package for standard tree felling and trimming. Yes, it does use the fuel, but the only time this chainsaw was taxed was when the chain was pinched by the heavy slab on top of it. I inserted a wedge between the slabs and powered through. Great deal!

  8. works great so far - time will tell 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Jan 2017

Purchased the 24" timberpro CS6150, delivered in 4 days , can hardly get stuff that quick locally. We've run poulan saws, 14" and 18", for years, very happy with them and have held up very well for us, always do cleaning etc. to help them last. Needed a larger saw and ordered timberpro [ only because of the price, didn't know anyone who had one, wanted to try one anyway ] really glad so far that we did. Cut six bundles of slabs with it, works great. I'm used to using the primer bulb but don't need to on this one, starts easily, cuts good and strong. Have about 3 acres to clear cut so will know for sure how it holds up. Will purchase a 20" also if this holds up, which I think it will. Try one yourself, can't picture you being disappointed with any size you get.

  10. CS6150 with 24" Bar/Chain 5 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Dec 2016

This is the 2nd Power Unit that I've gotten from Timberpro. 1st was the 5in1 52cc Strimmer/Pole Saw/Hedge Cutter/10" Brush Blade. Very good Product and Powerful.

    So I needed a new chainsaw to replace a Poulan 42cc 18" Bar/Chain.

I ordered on a Tuesday Morning,, and Received in Alabama Thursday Same week! Very Fast Shipping. I don't know how they do it that fast.

I've used the Saw a couple of time's by now. It Start's very easy, restart's at Idle Speed, after warm up on 1st pull, and Rev's Good.. Cut's really good and Very Fast. This is my First 24" Saw,, and I needed one a long time ago. Thank You Timberpro for selling this saw at an affordable price.

Read the Owner's Manual,, and Watch the Timberpro Video on how to Crank the CS6150, and how to operate the Primer Bulb.

My saw came with a 5/32 File for the Chain.

Do as the Owner's Manual say's for Maintenance after Each Use and Use Your Air Compressor to clean the Clutch and Sproket Area's, Bar Grove's/Channel's, and Chain.

For those that don't have an Air Compressor, Use the money that you saved on the saw to get yourself a 4 to 8 gallon air compressor. You can Thank me later,, cause You'll wonder how you ever made it without an Air Compressor. It's good for a lot more thing's than Air for Tire's. Use Your Imagination.

IMO, this Saw is Better made than My Poulan was. It's a good Value,, and Cleaning the Cover, Sprocket/Clutch/ Bar/Chain, at the end of the day will go a long way for long term durability.
