  1. Lot of saw for the money 4 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Apr 2017

I owned a tree svc for years, and have retired. I still occasionally take down a tree at one of my rental properties. Pretty powerful, but doesn't compare to the same CC Stihl, Echo,or Husky. That being said, any more power and the average homeowner would kill themselves for sure. I just took down a 40 foot Cherry laurel today. When done I had 3 heaping pick-ups of fire wood. Cherry laurel is very hard wood. I did use 2 chains because I didn't have a 5/32nd file. No problems. I only gave it 4 stars because it didn't have a tree dog. The 5 pronged steel bit that grabs the tree. The screw holes are there. It can't cost over fifty cents to make. I don't understand that. I guess I'll have to buy one locally. Still this is a good buy with the 2 year warranty. If it lasts 2 years, I'll be tickled to death and buy another.

  3. Outstanding Value, Great Saw, Amazing delivery, Saved Hundreds 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Mar 2017

Went shopping locally for a quality chainsaw and was floored by the prices. Went online Sunday night found Timberpro and ordered this saw, showed up the Next wednesday. 10 minutes to assembly and fine tune blade tension and has worked flawlessly ever since. Plenty of power will put it to even more tests in a few weeks but so far I am very pleased with my purchase actually feel like I got more than I paid for.

  4. value for your money 4 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Mar 2017

A year ago I bought this item and it is a saw I like ,it has more torque than my 45 cc husky, cutting better in oak just to mention one.
It has done well and been a pleasure.
The only cons is the bars, they are out of specs, 2.2 mm bar groove.
I did pres the bar closer to specs, making it usable.
Come one Chinese, you can do better and it don't cost you anything.
I had to put a piece of foam in the air filter as the ultra fine dust has a way to get in the air intake piece between carburetor and filter, I don't know if it well hurt anything, but annoying it is.
Oil is coming out where the oil-pump adjustment screw is now ,it can be a cracked oil-pipe or the pump it self.
To get to the pump I've to remove the clutch and that is difficult as the clutch has tread lock on it, have to heat it up 50-90* C.
All the Chinese chainsaw I've know of (7) has tread lock on the clutch.
One of the chains had not the same angle on the teeth.
The only reason I give this bumper pack 4 star is the bars.

  5. Amazing Chainsaw for the money. Ran these all day long and put them to the test Logging Eucalyptus and Oak trees in my bac yard after we were hit by a storm. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Mar 2017

Best saw on the market for the money. No need to modify the mufflur. Flows great. I swaped out spark plugs and indexed with NGK plugs. 25:1 with Shell/Cheveron Gas plus a cap full of 108 per fuel up. Clean the air filter, tighten the chainbetween rounds. Used 20/30 weight synthetic and adjusted the oiler at 4/5 max. Clean saw with car cleaner now and then. Great combo

Recommendations...upgrade the plug, dog teeth and swap out the aluminum handle and run good fuel. Other than that this baby purs... Awsome saw !

  6. Great little saw 4 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Mar 2017

Okay the first thing is I have been using chainsaws for more years than I care to remember.

    So this saw.

Given my location things normally take weeks to arrive this saw arrived within two days so super impressed by the delivery time.

Saw went together easily although as others have said the pictures in the instruction manual are a little difficult to follow. One thing of note is I found having the clutch over the drive sprocket a little awkward when fitting the chain and bar.

Watched the YouTube video on starting the saw and she started no bother and once warmed up ran really well. Difficult to say much about the cutting as I would expect it to cut well with anew chain. I'm currently cutting up wind fallen hardwood and it worked through that, some pieces close to full bar length, one frustration however was it felt like it used a lot of fuel but it may be it just has a smaller tank than I'm used to.

If your needing a saw to do some occasional work and keep you in firewood then this is a great little saw and well worth the monies.

  7. FANTASTIC Saw...SUPER Impressed 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Feb 2017

This saw is OUTSTANDING...so easy to start, ran perfect and made a HUGE job pretty darn easy. I can't say enough about this chainsaw. Worked better that saws costing 3 times as much. I HIGHLY recommend this tool. I have already been telling all my friends and neighbors that THIS is the BEST deal for the money out there..period! GREAT Chainsaw!!...I may get another one just to have a backup, or possibly a smaller bar saw for limbing...BUY this saw.

  8. Great Product but Intruction Manual Could be Better! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Feb 2017

I have just use the chainsaw for the first tome and it was excellent at cutting up wood for a log burner, easily sawing through tree trunks upto 35cm in diameter. The chain needed tightening once but then held its torque well.

My only complaint would be the instruction manual which has thumbnail diagrams which fail to label all the specific parts.

My first chainsaw and I am pleased with the results.

  9. Reliable starter 4 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2017

This machine starts easily and reliably, probably the most important feature for something that I only need to us occasionally. A bit heavy on fuel. But the supplied chains are almost useless. They stretch significantly and blunt quickly. But for this I would have given it a five. I used all four supplied just cutting up a stump. However alternative chains are available.

  10. Exceptional product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Jan 2017

This is the second one I've had from Timberpro. I placed my order at lunchtime and the product was with me the next morning
In the past I've had a range of chainsaws from various well know brands and I was initially a bit wary about buying this one as it was so cheap. It is brilliant. I had a huge evergreen oak to cut up recently which was incredibly dense. My husqvana wouldn't touch it but the Timberpro one went straight through it.
How they can manufacture the product and sell it at such a price is a mystery. I thoroughly recommend it.
