Previously had an original CS6150 that was brilliant. It started with a dodgy output shaft bearing that Timberpro fixed under warranty. No further issues through years of use until the on/off switch packed in. Gave the saw to a friend who replaced the switch and it's good as new.
I bought this one and it seems quite good. The studs and nuts for bar attachment feel slightly rougher than the original saw. The clips for attaching the cover are not as smooth as the original. The engine doesn't sound as sweet as the original.
Only time will tell how well made this model is but it seems reasonable value for money.
That said, I think I recommend buying the original for 2/3rds the cost. I rated the original 5 stars considering cost and build quality. Rated this saw 4 stars as I'm not convinced this one is worth the extra money. Hope to be proved wrong.
Too early to say if any good as it all depends how it performs over the long term but I have chopped down a couple of trees and it performs very well so time will tell!
I've not used this yet but it came well packed and apart from a spanner to take of the casein of all looks good .
Only used once so far, but I’m very happy with this Saw. It has significantly more power than my 42cc. Paulan Pro without having to spend $500. Cuts ~18 inch diameter oaks like butter. Took less than a week for the Saw to arrive in South Carolina , USA
Not a bad saw, have used it cutting for 2 days and happy with it.
the only thing is it could do with a 16" blade also, saw is a bit top heavy with the 20" when cutting handy blocks
I received the chainsaw on time the packaging was done quite well. Easy assembly started up on the third pole couldn't be happier cut through the wood like it wasn't even there.
I experienced the very best service, tracking and delivery. The service was outstanding and their notification was outstanding, best I have experienced, my chainsaw was delivered well packaged and very quickly. Very pleased. The chainsaw has the power and my husband is well pleased.
I bought this as an update for my previous 62cc chainsaw and was not disappointed. It runs well starts well and has a decompression button to make starting easier .
For the money this is good value. And does not struggle with the 20" blade. I have yet to try the 24" blade no chain but I am pretty sure the engine will cope with this.
Points to remember Clean after every use,Use the correct mixture and make sure you always use chain oil DO NOt let it run out as the chain will blunt very quickly. Also if you are not going to use it for a week drain the fuel .
